Miami City Ballet presents: Program Three

Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4
Kravis Center for the Performing Arts
Presented by Miami City Ballet

Program Three juxtaposes the old and the new, featuring George Balanchine’s classic masterpiece Theme and Variations, with soaring music by Tchaikovsky, as well as Jerome Robbins’ lighthearted The Concert (or, the Perils of Everybody), universally acclaimed as the funniest of all comic ballets. This program will also feature a contemporary world premiere by Brian Brooks, inaugural Choreographer in Residence at Chicago’s Harris Theater, with a commissioned score by American composer Michael Gordon.
