The Art and Life of Charlie Chaplin, Artistic Genius of the 20th Century with John Pohanka
The Society of the Four Arts
Born into poverty, Charlie Chaplin rose to become one of the most famous and wealthiest figures of the 20th century.
He created unforgettable characters, often writing, acting, directing, and even composing the music for his silent films. He successfully transitioned out of silent films and lived a life full of excitement, scandal, and pathos.
John J. Pohanka has been on the board of trustees at the Washington National Opera since 1989 and is a long-time trustee of the Four Arts. He is the author of “Wagner the Mystic.” He founded the Wagner Society of Palm Beach, and has been instrumental in organizing exceptional programs for Campus on the Lake.
Light refreshments will follow.
Tickets: $25. No charge for Four Arts Members . Reservations Required
