Color Effects by Cecilia Lueza
Art in Public Places Boynton Beach
The City of Boynton Beach Art in Public Places presents the 2019-2020 exhibit: Color Effects with artist Cecilia Lueza. The year-long solo exhibit features five colorful geometric sculptures that capture the dynamic effects of nature and resilience of the community.
Beginning November 30th FREE docent-led tours of the 5 sculptures including an Otocast app that connects the viewer to the artist. Following the tour, free discounts and special deals from the area business will be given to tour attendees who RSVP in advance.
Cecilia’s work is a personal expression of her lifelong fascination with the visual effects of color, light, shadow, negative spaces, and the concepts of space, movement, and transition. Her designs act to promote community values, enhance our environment, increase our awareness and question our assumptions.
The large-scale sculptures are integrated into the urban landscapes along East Ocean Avenue in downtown Boynton Beach, creating inspiration to residents, businesses and visitors.
