Boca History 101 A Virtual Lecture Series

The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum is pleased to announce a new online lecture series “Boca History 101” coming September through November of 2020. Longtime BRHS&M curator Susan Gillis will present this ten-part virtual series open to members and nonmembers alike. The topics include: Boca Raton, A Brief History; Boca Raton’s Pioneer Days; Addison Mizner and the 1920s; and Boca Raton During World War II. 

Ms. Gillis will present a PowerPoint based on the museum’s historical collections to accompany each lecture in ten half hour sessions. Lectures will available for viewing on Thursdays at noon starting September 10. The cost is free to BRHS&M members and $25 for nonmembers.
