West Palm Beach “Then & Now” Walking Tour

Join us on this 1.5 hour guided walking tour of West Palm Beach’s downtown.

Learn about the city’s role in Henry Flagler’s vision of turning Palm Beach into America’s Riviera, the winter playground of the rich. Then walk up the “new” Clematis Street to view its parks, landmarked buildings, hot new restaurants & cafes , nightspots , luxury hotels and trendy shops. Admire and learn about the many impressive murals and public art along the way.

Highlights include: Learning the history of Henry Flagler, the Royal Poinciana Hotel, Whitehall, the Flagler museum, Royal Poinciana Plaza, E.R. Bradley, the Richard and Pat Johnson History Museum, Rosemary Square

What we pass: Clematis Street from the waterfront to the 500 block, E.R. Bradley’s Saloon, Flagler (Centennial Park), new Flagler Banyan Square Park, the Ben Hotel, Elizabetta’s restaurant, Pioneer Linens, Anthony building, Via Jardin, Thoroughfare, Mandel Library, Palm Beach Photography Center, Subculture coffee shop, Hullababoo, Kapow, Lost Weekend, Respectable Street and other businesses on 500 block.
