Handmaid's Tale, Fiction to Reality?: Let's Discuss

The Handmaid's Tale is a fictional, oft times frightening story that, in our current political climate, begs the question - how close to reality is this story? Participants will have either read the book or watched the series on Hulu to join an interactive discussion led by an OLLI member facilitator. Although there are many facets of this story to unpack, this particular discussion will focus on the suppression of women and the gender-suppressive actions we see more and more frequently in today's society. Space is limited.
