Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery
As northern Palm Beach and southern Martin counties' oldest and largest visual arts organization, the Lighthouse ArtCenter is a two-building operation featuring a museum and a school of art. The museum has a fine art collection, diverse and educational exhibits, docent tours, lectures, concerts and special events. The Lighthouse ArtCenter was founded in 1964 by a group of eight artists and Christopher Norton, son of the founders of the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Lighthouse ArtCenter School of Art offers classes for children and adults, beginner through professional levels in ceramics, drawing, encaustic, jewelry, painting (acrylics, oils, and watercolors), photography, Photoshop, portrait and figure instruction, sculpture and more. Special needs classes are also offered for adults and children.
