Town of Lake Park

Just one visit to the Town of Lake Park is all it takes to understand why it's been called "The Jewel of the Palm Beaches." Lush landscaping throughout the Town, sails flapping in the breeze at the Marina, service-oriented Town staff, and a revitalized downtown all contribute to the desirable quality of life that was envisioned by Town founders in 1923.

The Lake Park Special Events Department, located at 535 Park Avenue, First Floor Commission Chambers, coordinates special events and recreational opportunities throughout the year for residents and visitors of all ages.

The Department coordinates community events, runs a comprehensive Summer Camp Program for young people ages 6-12, and organizes many year-round activities.

Through county, state, and local funding and corporate sponsorships, the Department has added playgrounds to area parks, improved ball fields, beautified Kelsey Park and Lake Shore Park, refurbished the Lake Park Tennis facility, made Town parks and playgrounds accessible to the disabled, renovated the Mirror Ballroom, and hosted our monthly Sunset Celebration, annual Easter Egg Hunt and the Holiday Tree Lighting. The Special Events Department also partners with other businesses to host the annual Back To School Explosion, Vets Day Car Show and other special events.
