Greenacres Historical Society & Museum

Whereas, Greenacres City was incorporated on May 14, 1926, it shall be the purpose of the Society to perpetuate the history of the city for educational and charitable endeavors.  It is to actively promote and maintain historical documents, sites, building and landmarks within the present or future boundaries of the City of Greenacres, Florida.  It will promote the use of, and encourage the exchange of information and promote education among individuals who have an interest in historical places in Greenacres through public discussion groups, forums, lectures, seminars, meetings, restoration projects and other similar programs.  In so doing, it will promote a better understanding of the history, as well as the importance of the history of Greenacres and its residents.

Hours & Admission
The historical society museum is open by appointment only. Please call the society to set up an appointment at 561-429-6221. We are looking forward to giving you a tour of the museum and give you some history of Greenacres.
