Elevar Foundation / EOIVC

The Elevar Foundation, home to the Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition (EOIVC), believes in the transformative power of music and music education. Its goal is to make music and supplies accessible to underserved communities by utilizing EOIVC Laureates as well as its deep connections within the music industry. The EOIVC, held once every three years, is a globally-recognized competition that is open to talented violinists ages 16-32. Through an intensive three-step judging process, four finalists are chosen to compete for over $150,000 in prizes, including cash awards, instruments, bows, international performances, as well as artist management and PR support for three years. The finals are held over two days at the Keith C. & Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center on the campus of Lynn University. Each finalist performs a previously determined concerto with the Lynn Philharmonia under the direction of Guillermo Figueroa.
