The Symphonia

The mission of the Symphonia is to inspire, educate and engage the lives of our diverse South Florida community through extraordinary musical experiences.

The Symphonia, South Florida's World Class Chamber Orchestra, was founded in July 2004, as the Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia. The Symphonia debuted its Connoisseur Concert Series during the 2005-06 artistic season. Since its inception, this series has been performed to wide critical acclaim. With a repertoire blending classic with contemporary works, these concerts offer compositions from diverse composers, highlighting those that can best be brought to life by a chamber-size ensemble. Performances have expanded to audiences in Fort Lauderdale, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ Amaturo Theater and All Saints Episcopal Church, and to northern Palm Beach County, at the Eissey Campus Theatre and Royal Poinciana Chapel and the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.
