Palm Beach Atlantic Symphony

The PBA Symphony is a full symphony orchestra made up of 60 students and local semi-professional players that present five concerts annually.   This ensemble is committed to performing the finest standard repertoire available including works by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Mahler, Shostakovich, Sibelius, etc.  The ensemble also actively seeks to perform contemporary American music such as Ives, Copland, and Gershwin, Corigliano, Ruggles, Hovhaness, and Diamond.  Performances are given at venues across central and northern Palm Beach County. The PBA Symphony is under the direction of Dr. Lloyd Mims.
