Wellington Ballet Theatre

Since 2011, Wellington Ballet Theatre has produced 14 full-length ballets showcasing our children in over 30+ performances on local stages for the community. We have provided over 2,000 hours of educational performance programming and logged 700+ hours of volunteer hours… Our work is touching the community every day, in ways that matter for children and families.

Founded by Rocky and Dorie Duvall in 2011, Wellington Ballet Theatre is a pre-professional dance company and 501(c)3 not for profit charitable organization dedicated to providing the highest standards of classical training and dance performance education to the South Florida area. Wellington Ballet Theater seeks to build self-esteem and professionalism in its dancers as well as to promote a deep appreciation of the dance arts throughout the community. Under the Ballet Direction of Melissa Waters, WBT strives to be an example of excellence for dancer development, preparing students for entering college, University and professional dancer careers by providing intensive artistic and dance experience with an emphasis on ballet.
