Handheld Stories is a Florida non-profit organization working in the US and overseas. We bring documentary film equipment and education to unrepresented communities and promote their personal narratives through online platforms like YouTube and Facebook. Handheld Stories believes that the right to free speech should encompass the right to be heard and uses the power of new media to make that possible for communities worldwide who may not otherwise have a voice ias technology increasingly informs a global conversation.
